Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actress. He started his acting career by playing performances in television shows such as in Opposite Sex in the year 2000. In 2005, following his appearances on Not Another Teen Movie and Fantastic Four (and its sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer 2007), he was recognized for playing the Marvel Comics hero the Human Torch. Evans also appeared in the films of comics as well as graphic novel TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). His portrayal of Captain America/Steve Rogers is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame in 2019 earned him even more recognition. He became one of the highest paid actors in the world because of his work for the Marvel series.
